Who can participate?

The SDG Olympiad is open to bachelor's, master’s, and Phd students from around the world who are passionate about solving global challenges. If you care about the UN Sustainable Development Goals, you’re welcome to join an SDG Innovation event or join the SDG Olympiad independent track.

How to participate?

There are two ways to join the SDG Olympiad.

SDG Innovation Events Track

Join through one of our partner universities—usually as part of a summer school or course. You’ll work in a team and tackle real sustainability challenges from global organisations.

Global Challenges Track

Not at a partner uni? No worries. Join the Global Citizen Challenge, pick a real-world problem, and work with a professor from your uni to bring your idea to life.
